Yes a very overdue trip to the beach on Sunday & the immediate reason was a very unproductive Saturday.

So to be productive it was defined to be an early start as the best time for the beach is an early as possible.

Ask any surfer that & yes it depends on the swells & tides & winds & maybe the night before.

So off we go as early and the short trip was worth it.

The beach was a picture & the Red & Orange flags were up & the early swimmers were in there.

In I go & the best way in after a too long an absence is take the plunge.

The second plunge is always better.

Smiles on those around us.

An apology from  a lady swimmer when there was a small collision in the breaking wave.

It all very positive.

Happy fully dressed tourists snapping group photos.

It is living their dream.

Body & mind refreshed.

Let’s go & now to the beach towel to enjoy the beach watching.

Now back for another plunge or several.

Back to the towel to relax.

Repeat.

‘It getting hot’.

Mindful of past events when too much ‘colour’ off we go.

Checked out the caravan park that I stayed at 40+ years ago.

I congratulate all concerned that such a prime spot is still a caravan park .

How much to stay there over for a week?

Sounds very reasonable & I certainly could find a week there refreshing.

Beach is the prescription for me from  way back when our Dad took us.

I still recall a first swim with him.

It was Much colder there at Waikuku.

In fact, I still recall catching the bus there with family provisions including Coal for the stove.

Any beach is good & I must Prescribe it more often for all the family.

Yes Sir.
