Over those long ago Christmas holidays we had the car windscreen cracked & it needed to be replaced.

After some research we found Jason who was able to replace it for less than the car insurance.

However with the old window out went the little ticket that Greg our mechanic sticks onto the windscreen.

This is a little nudge to remind us that it is time for the car to be ‘reviewed’ again.

Every 5000 Km.

So we leave the car a little longer than we should to do so.

It has been buzzing around in my head as I don’t know the difference between a steering wheel & a spare wheel.

Is everything alright?

Is there enough oil?

What is that rasping sound on the right rear wheel.?

Will it make it down to the coast & the party and back??

So today off to the mechanic. 

I jog back.

Greg calls.

Greg has cartilage problems so off to the specialist  & also off to the dentist on Thursday.

The car?

Only rear brake pads & the normal oil change.

Phew!

What a relief.

I’m more comfortable driving now.

Certainly ‘peace of mind’.

 Greg, thanx for your skills set & your years in the trade.

Yes we will be there @another 5000Km.
