As I had to deliver the car today to the garage we observed our mechanic George* limping.

I asked why & he has to have a hip replacement in December.

George* further explains that he will have his wife covering him for the 3 weeks he is recuperating.

Ah!

As George explains ‘everything is in his head’ & she can always Phone a George*.

Is that a permanent solution  for George* when he is easing himself out of his garage business?

He has made the first step in finding a relative who he will transit the business to over the next 5 1/2 years.

He explains that even when a similar business might turnover 150K that he might achieve only 20K -50k for it in a sale.

That is not a fair reward for 30 years of effort.

Yes he  has put aside funds for retirement & has been a great father as his three children have achieved their degrees.

However he would be wise to action some more planning which would provide more options

We have suggested reading ‘The E-myth revisited’ by Michael Gerber.

We had a late neighbour who did do software packages for garages.

George, Let’s do some planning.

  1. what does your wife do when she administers for those 3 weeks?
  2. what does your mechanic do whilst you are away?

Two = 2 simple documents to transfer from your head to your substitutes.

  1. Ask your IT friend to find the relevant software package.

Let’s start on the 1st one

As Bob Proctor said on his video. Face your fear & it will disappear.

Or let’s get hips aligned, business plans aligned & of course our  wheels aligned.

A suggestion .

Alignment is happiness

Yes sir.
